follows a typical suburban family that listens to their radio and hears the voice of God, a voice that broadcasts worldwide at precisely 8:30pm for more than a week. The father is an aircraft mechanic, the wife is pregnant with her second child and the son is exceptionally cute. The father is unsatisfied with life and short-tempered about little things that go wrong. But hearing the voice of God changes his life.

follows a lonely farm kid, who saves up money for a dog, finds a stray, then begins to blossom. After finding his dog dead, the boy presumes a strange newcomer in the neighborhood deliberately poisoned his dog. In retaliation, the boy initiates a smear campaign against the odd neighbor. He even commits an act of vandalism that endangers area crops. Eventually, he learns the truth about his dog’s death.
